To provide strategic and operational leadership for marketing, communications and digital activities in Afghanistan and thereby enhance the impact of the British Council’s cultural relations work; paying special attention to our digital presence, products and services, while raising our brand profile, audience engagement, through social media, applications and pro-mobility technologies.

The post holder plays a key role in upholding a culture of cooperation and collaboration by delivering customer focussed lead/support to the British Council Afghanistan team, working with sector leads to design and implement strategies that support the country’s reach. This will be achieved by proactively managing all online outreach tools such as corporate website content, social media communities, while aligning with regional digital, marketing & communication priorities.
