We are building relationships, networking and working with education policy makers, encouraging them to develop best practice in education and global citizenship and support Afghanistan's national priorities.
High ranking officials from the Ministry of Education attend events and programmes that can have a positive impact on the education system in Afghanistan. For example, H.E Dr Farooq Wardak, Afghanistan’s Minister of Education, attended the Education World Forum (EWF) in London last year. He had meetings and discussions with his counterparts from other countries and brought back lots of positive ideas for making improvements to the education system in Afghanistan.
Other high ranking officials from the Ministry of Education have also taken part in various seminars and training programmes in order to learn and implement practices that are carried out in other parts of the world.
